Dr Jerome Griffin
Interim President/CEO

Dr. Jerome Griffin currently serves as the President of Nubian American Advanced College in Lagos, Nigeria. He formerly served as The Vice President for Institutional Development at William R. Tolbert Baptist University in Liberia West Africa from 2022-23. He also served as the Campus Director and Associate Professor at Springfield College. Springfield, Massachusetts from 2005-2010. He also served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at African Methodist Episcopal University in Monrovia, Liberia West Africa from 2012-14. Along with serving as the Dean of the college of education at African Methodist Episcopal University from 2017-2019.

Dr. Griffin is a Graduate of Portland State University in Portland Oregon where he obtained a B.S. degree In Political Science. He also completed a Masters Degree in Public Administration at Golden Gate University in San Francisco California. He also attended Miles College of Law in Birmingham, Alabama and Completed his Doctoral degree in Education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Ghana at Legon in Ghana West Africa.

Dr. Griffin is a native of Pittsburgh P.A. and was raised in Los Angeles California where he attended Hamilton High School.

Dr. Griffin also served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and is a Vietnam Era veteran. 

Prof Patrick I. Oyinkari 
Provost/CEO

Pioneer Provost/CEO of Nubian American Advanced College, having previously served as Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs, VP of Institutional Effectiveness & Support Services, and VP of Fiscal Affairs and Operations. He initiated and championed the process for the approval of the college by the Federal Ministry of Education and secured the National Board for Technical Education accreditation for the Business, Administration, and Management program. To enhance learning and working experiences at the college, Patrick’s leadership has acquired for the college the Microsoft educational package, and the MRSoft Enterprise School Portal.

An interdisciplinary scholar and award-winning author; Professor of Business Management and Leadership; seasoned professional Business Administrator and Consultant with experiences in Law, Banking, Finance, Administration, Human Relations Management, Corporate Governance, gained froms Corporate Law Practice, Banking, Finance, Academia/Educational, Social and Religious circles. Patrick has a flair to develop and implement corporate strategies, to reduce operating budgets and has taken major roles in turning around company’s overall performance. An articulate communicator with effective listening, presentation and interpersonal skills, good senior management experience with proven ability to lead, guide, and effect management initiatives, manage change and implement strategy. An advocate of balance between classroom and industry/field of practice with heavy predisposition for corporate governance and behaviour. His Areas of Expertise include Legal, Regulatory, and Financial Compliance, Business Leadership and Advisory, Consultancy, Management and Board Reporting, Customer Service Orientation and Problems Resolutions, Strategic/Tactical Planning, Relationship Management, Partnership Dealings, Business Development, ISO QMS (Lead Auditor).

Oyinkari is a Trainer and Volunteer Mentor with Sustainable Education and Enterprise Development (SEED) – an initiative supported by the DFID (UKAid); an Independent Consultant with W-Holistic on Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF); Adjunct Professor at International Institute for Christian Discipleship (IICD), Lagos and Johannesburg. He provides research guidance and supervision to undergraduate and graduate students at universities in Nigeria, South Africa, and the UK. He previously held senior positions in banks and financial institutions; served as Business Leadership Consultant to the Delta Steel Company (DSC) Corporate Renewal; Board Member/Contributor, Nigerian Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies; Contributing Writer for HR Guide Magazine covering corporate governance pages; Contributor to Journal of Corporate Governance; Chairman, Grievance Resolution Subcommittee, Police Community Relations Committee, Oshodi Divisional Police Headquarters, Makinde Station, Mafoluku, Lagos. In his contribution to literature his collection of poems, “Dreams”, has been used at Wisconsin University, USA as required PhD text since 2003; his business start-up book, “Start Your Own Business” was voted “Book of the Week” by ThisDay Newspapers (2006) and was used in the training of retiring federal civil servants (2006-2008). He cofounded Glowing Brains Schools; Mikro Consults; Oyinkari & Associates (Solicitors); and Gadal ISB Consults. He holds the Doctor of Business Leadership degree from the University of South Africa (pioneering research into independent board models for banks in Nigeria); Master of Business Administration from the University of Calabar and Bachelor of Laws from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1986. He is married and blessed with three children.

Mr Steve Alagbe 
Bursar

Mr. Alagbe, Stephen Abiodun, is a consummate accountant whose love for the profession got him pursuing studies in that field from the bottom up. He holds the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting; BSc. in Accounting; and is a certified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Not done with learning and practicing the profession he loves Steve is currently in a graduate program for the MSc in Accounting.
He has been working in the past 15 years as an accountant in various strategic posts, cutting across Banking, Insurance, Trading, Education, and other sectors of the economy. His professional experience in this field spans 8 years as a chartered status accountant.

Mr Sunday Olugbenga
Registrar

Mr. Sunday Olugbenga Idowu was born in Oru-Ijebu, Ogun State on 15th July, 1958, to the family of Chief Thomas Olusoga ldowu and Late Mrs. Clementinah Idowu both of blessed memory. He attended Sagun United Anglican Primary School Oru/Awa from 1965-1970 and Itamerin Secondary Modern School from 1971-1973. He taught briefly for one year between September 1974 and August 1975 at St. Marks Anglican School, Oke-Jaga, Ijebu-Igbo and St. Philip’s Anglican School, Oke-Agbo, Ijebu-Igbo as Auxiliary teacher. He later proceeded to Muslim Teacher’s Training College, Oru-Ijebu from 1975-1978, where he obtained Grade II Teacher’s Certificate.

He had his Higher Education at University of Ibadan for his Associate-ship Certificate in Education (ACE) in 1986, Ogun State College of Education Ijebu-Ode (Now Tai Solarin University of Education) 1989-1992 for Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE). He further proceeded to Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye (Now Olabisi Onabanjo University) from1995-1999 where he bagged his B.Sc/Edu. (Second Class Upper Division) and Masters Degree in Personnel Psychology (MPP) in 2002 respectively.

He taught for nine years in the public schools and fifteen years at Olabisi Onabanjo University Staff School Ago-Iwoye where he voluntarily resigned as a Teacher in February, 2002.

His quest for greater pastures made him to take up a new appointment as an Administrative Officer in Olabisi Onabanjo University in March, 2002.

By dint of hard-work and selfless service to God and humanity, he was appointed as Principal Assistant Registrar (PAR) and Council Affairs Officer by the Chairman, Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo Governing Council, Prof. Ayo Ogunye in 2008.

To the glory of God, his dedication and contributions to the growth and development of the Polytechnic culminated to his appointment as the Acting Registrar of the Institution between 3rd December, 2018 and 15th July, 2023. Subsequently, he was appointed as Ag. Registrar by Nubian American Advanced College effective from 2nd January, 2025.

In support of professionalism, Mr. Sunday Idowu has attended several workshops and conferences both locally and internationally. Some of the recent workshops/conferences include:-
• Capacity Building Workshop for Rectors and Principal Officers of Polytechnics organized by Council of Heads of Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology in Nigeria (COHEADS) at Nigerian Army Resource Centre Asokoro, Abuja – March, 2020.
• Work Ethics and Attitudinal Change for Administrative and Executive Cadres organized by Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic Management – February, 2021

Mr. Sunday Olugbenga Idowu is happily married to Mrs. Peninah Adenike Idowu and blessed with Children and Grand Children.

Mrs Ogechi Felicia Ibegbu

Mrs. Ogechi Felicia Ibegbu holds a B.A. degree in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and an MSc in Conflict and Peace studies from National Open University Abuja. Oge is currently pursuing a PhD in Conflict and Peace Studies at Babcock University, Nigeria and hopes to complete her doctoral research by the end of 2025. With a Post Graduate Diploma in Education she is also a certified professional educator registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

Oge’s wealth of experience began with her work under the guidance of Prof. Patrick Okedinachi Utomi, a renowned scholar, economist, activist, teacher, and former presidential aspirant. In her role at his consulting firm, she conducted organizational interviews, submitted proposals, and addressed organizational challenges by proffering innovative solutions to achieve set mandates. She also played a vital role in training staff, management, and governing councils of government and private organizations contributing significantly to their growth and efficiency.

Her professional journey includes organizing numerous impactful conferences, seminars, and workshops across diverse fields, such as education, business, SMEs, customer support, relationship management, empowerment, and counseling. Notably, she spearheaded a National Capacity Building and Wealth Creation Conference for all the local government chairmen in Lagos State in partnership with the Association of Local Governments in Nigeria (ALGON), showcasing her leadership and ability to manage large-scale events that address critical societal issues.
Oge was also instrumental in organizing an International Educational Rescue Conference in collaboration with Lagos Business School and Utomapp Consulting Firm, aimed at addressing challenges in education and fostering innovative solutions. Her expertise in managing such high-profile events highlights her ability to create platforms for meaningful dialogue and change.

With over 15 years of experience in the education sector, Oge has developed expertise in customer care, communication, administration, student enrollment, U.S. student transfers, international educational partnerships, and the management of students within startup educational institutions. She has collaborated with multinational corporations, NGOs, and government agencies, including the Nigeria Maritime Authority, Nigerian Ports Authority, and state governments like Lagos and Enugu.She has leveraged on her expertise in Peace and Conflict management to excel in the various roles she has occupied in the education landscape while ensuring stability and effective team working in the organisations. This is her strong point and the value she brings to the table to add value to any organization she works for.

Her previous roles include serving as MEMBA 1 Administrator at Lagos Business School, where she coordinated the Executive MBA program, marketed the school’s programs, and organized training sessions. Additionally, she held leadership positions in private international schools, such as Pinefield School Lekki and Kayron International Schools, serving as Coordinator of Administration, Head of Administration, and Admin Manager.

As a writer and researcher, Oge has written , published some articles on topics such as peace and conflict resolution, farmers-herders conflicts, and women’s vulnerabilities. She has attended and participated in numerous international educational conferences in the UK, Ghana, and Nigeria, further broadening her professional knowledge.
Currently, she serves as the Director of Admissions, U.S. Student Transfers, and International Partnerships at Nubian American Advanced College in Lagos. Her notable achievements include driving institutional growth, improving admissions processes, and building international partnerships. Prior to this, she served as Manager of Admission, Registration, and Records and as Acting Registrar at the institution.

Known for her hardworking and amiable nature, strong faith, self-motivation, and unwavering commitment to her profession, Oge is a role model in her field. Her determination and resilience have been instrumental in her success in both her professional and academic pursuits.
In her personal life, Ogechi is a devoted wife and mother of two sons, balancing her family responsibilities with her thriving career.

Mr Adewale O. Ajibola

Adewale O. Ajibola is a highly organized and dedicated professional currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the President at Nubian American Advanced College, located in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, Adewale plays a pivotal part in supporting the president’s daily operations by efficiently managing his schedule, coordinating meetings, and ensuring seamless communication through the preparation and distribution of memos. His attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills have been key assets in maintaining smooth administrative functions within the institution.

Adewale’s diverse career background spans over a decade, with experience in both academic and managerial roles. Before his current position, he served as the Program Manager at Gradepoint College from 2015 to 2022, where he expertly coordinated students from various backgrounds within the advanced-level program. During this time, he demonstrated a strong ability to handle complex logistical tasks and support the academic progress of students.

Additionally, Adewale held the position of Head of the Biology Department at the Centre for Basic and Advanced Studies of Alhikma University, Ilorin, from 2012 to 2015. In this leadership role, he managed departmental operations, supervised faculty members, and ensured that the department ran efficiently, contributing to the university’s overall academic success.

Adewale’s career began as an instructor at Kinsey College of Education, where he taught between 2012 and 2015, nurturing young minds and fostering their academic growth. His experience in education has shaped his strong communication skills and his ability to adapt to diverse environments.

Adewale holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, where he honed his knowledge of the biological sciences. His academic background, combined with his professional experiences, allows him to approach each challenge with both analytical thinking and an understanding of the broader context.

Adewale is driven by a passion for education and leadership, and he continues to contribute significantly to the success of his institution while maintaining an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Rev Christian Ndamnsa Fai

Christian Ndamnsa Fai heads the School of Philosophy and Religious Studies (SPARS) with starting up programs in the studies of the Hebrew Language.

Christian is a reverend gentleman and an Old Testament Consultant-in-Training. He holds the Diploma in Theology and Diploma in Education of the Mambila Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as the BA, Linguistics and BA Bible Translation degrees of the Theological College of Northern Nigeria and the University of Jos, Nigeria respectively. His passion for a deeper understanding of the Bible led him to the Institute for Biblical Languages and Translation, Jerusalem, Israel, where he bagged a BA in Modern and Biblical Hebrew. Then, he proceeded to the Holy Land University in Jerusalem for his MA in Classical Hebrew and Translation and the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, for a semester program in Hebrew and Biblical Translation.

Fai is currently pursuing a PhD . at Holy Land University, Jerusalem.
He is married and blessed with children

Mr Dandy Ebi Makpah

Mr. Dandy Ebi Makpah is a resourceful and target-oriented tech-savvy engineer and takes delight in education and education technologies. He oversees the technologies deployments at Nubian American Advanced College as the college prides itself in being technology oriented. He heads the Information and Communications Technology, the Virtual Learning Technologies, and manages the Learning Resource Center and the e-Library. Coming from the agricultural, environmental, farm power and machinery engineering background, Dandy has seized his opportunities to be proficient in the use and administration of Learning Management Systems, Student Information Systems, Simulations, etc. He is a Professional Technician in Mechanical and Electrical Manufacturing and Installations, with specialization in Green Energy (Solid, Liquid and Gaseous fuel production).
Mr. Makpah holds a B.Eng, and M.Eng degrees and is currently pursuing his PhD in Farm Power Engineering.

 Ibrahim Mubait Blessing

Muibat Blessing Ibrahim is an accomplished linguist, educator, and administrator with a strong background in language studies and leadership. She holds a first degree in Linguistics and Nigerian Languages from Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, and a Master of Arts in English Language from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

She currently serves as the Coordinator, Recruitment and Testing at Nubian American Advanced College, where she is also an Adjunct Faculty member. Previously, she contributed as an Academic Advisor, providing academic and career guidance to students.

Muibat is a graduate of MOGI Global Leadership School, where she was trained in leadership, business growth, and global influence. She has developed expertise in analytical thinking, language proficiency, computer literacy, organizational leadership, and administrative management.

A committed member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Muibat is passionate about community engagement and personal development. Her hobbies include academic tutoring, research, reading, and writing, reflecting her dedication to continuous learning and intellectual excellence.

 Olu-Olatiregun O. Elizabeth

OLU-OLATIREGUN O. ELIZABETH joined Nubian American Advanced College as the Manager of Students Recruitment Services. In this role,she has demonstrated a spirit of commitment-and dedication, she is go-getter with exceptional interpersonal skills, excels in delivering best-in-class customer service experiences. With a proven ability to integrate vision and development methodologies within a high-profile corporation, she is an effective communicator who maintains a highly professional attitude. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic abilities contribute to her success as the Manager of Student Recruitment Services and-presently, Acting Admission Officer at NAAC, Lekki, Lagos.In her role, Elizabeth has effectively managed student recruitment services by preparing outreaches/ visitation, while diligently perfuming her as the acting Admission officer. She is responsible for developing strategies to attract prospective students and streamline the admissions process, ensuring a smooth transition for new enrollees.

An experienced higher education administrator, Olu-Olatiregun is a teacher and a scholar. Her M.A in English from University of Ilorin and a degree in English from the same University of Ilorin, Nigeria. While working on other academic certificates. She has her Professional Certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)

An alumna of the University of Ilorin, National Open University(NOUN) and Online Harvard Institute of Educational Management.

She has a deep and varied experience in higher education administration, including academic program development and management, strategic visioning and implementation, accreditation, faculty and leadership development, student success and retention, enrollment management, facilities development and management, community engagement and Board relations. A strategic thinker, Olu-Olatiregun is comfortable with complexity. She relates well with people.

In all, Olu-Olatiregun Elizabeth has a strong background in education with experience in both teaching and administrative roles. A dedicated education professional with extensive experience in student’s services,recruitment, admission and academic instruction. Mr Anayo Ugwu

With over 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, I bring a comprehensive skill set in Real Estate Engineering Services, Manufacturing Industries, Tax, and Audit Consultancy. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated strong competencies in financial reporting, account reconciliation, financial accounting, budgeting, and debt recovery. My expertise extends to ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements while providing timely and accurate financial information to support management and various stakeholder initiatives.

Currently serving as the Accountant at Nubian American Advance College, I am responsible for overseeing the financial reporting function, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s financial processes, systems, and controls. By providing insightful financial data, I contribute to strategic decision-making that drives business growth and operational success.

With a proven track record of improving financial processes and fostering business growth, I remain committed to continuous learning and optimizing financial operations to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Mr Hunsa Samson Segun

Hunsa Samson Segun is a creative designer, video editor, and art director with a background in Agriculture from the Federal University of Technology, Minna (2019). He served as the Corps Editor II at the NYSC Secretariat in Benue State, handling creative design and video editing. With experience in real estate branding and a comprehensive advertising and marketing training from 02 Academy, he graduated as an art director. Currently, he is the Creative Designer and Video Editor at Nubian American Advanced College, bringing visual storytelling and strategic branding to life.

MaryJane Onyenezide

MaryJane Onyenezide – Facility and Administrative Management Professional.
MaryJane holds a degree in Geography and Environmental Management from Imo State University and has built a solid career in executive support, operations, and administrative coordination.
She currently oversees facility management on campus, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained and fully operational.
She is passionate about creating a well-structured and efficient work and learning environment for Staff and Students.
